TelQuest is a trading name of Comquest LTD, registered in England & Wales under company number 16190610, with its registered office at 3rd Floor, 86–90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE.

For the purposes of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 we are the data controller for personal data collected through our website and platform. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

Account data: name, work email, phone number, employer, job title and billing details provided when creating an account or contacting sales.

Service data: phone numbers, call detail records, voicemails, call recordings (where enabled), routing rules and configuration metadata required to operate your phone system.

Technical data: IP address, device and browser information, language, and pages viewed, collected through cookies and similar technologies. See our Cookie Policy for detail.

Marketing data: preferences for receiving updates, and engagement with our emails.

Contract: to provide the platform, support and billing for customers and their authorised users.

Legitimate interests: to keep the service secure, prevent fraud, improve features, and contact you about your account.

Consent: for non-essential cookies and marketing emails, where required. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Legal obligation: to retain records required by Ofcom, HMRC, UK GDPR and other applicable law.

We share personal data only with processors that help us deliver the TelQuest service, including our cloud hosting, communications carriers, payment provider, email and analytics suppliers, all bound by written data processing agreements.

We do not sell personal data. We may disclose data when required by law, by Ofcom, or to protect the rights and safety of our customers and the public.

Our platform is hosted in the United Kingdom. Where personal data is processed outside the UK by a supplier, we rely on UK-approved transfer mechanisms such as the International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Account data is retained for the life of the account and for up to 7 years after closure to meet legal, tax and dispute-resolution obligations.

Call detail records are retained for 12 months by default. Call recordings are retained only as long as you configure in the dashboard.

Marketing data is retained until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent.

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. Where we rely on consent you may withdraw it at any time.

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. Access is restricted on a need-to-know basis with multi-factor authentication. We operate under PCI DSS controls for payment card data and review our security posture continuously.
