Are there any contracts or setup fees?
No. Every plan is billed monthly with no minimum term, no setup fee and no hardware to buy. Cancel any time from the dashboard.
Can I port my existing UK numbers?
Yes. Free porting is included on every plan. We handle the paperwork with your current provider and schedule a managed cutover so you don't lose a call.
What does per-seat actually mean?
A seat is one user who can make and receive calls from any device, desk phone, desktop app or mobile app, using the same extension and number.
Do I need to buy desk phones?
No. Our softphone apps work on Windows, macOS, iOS and Android. If you prefer desk phones, we support all major SIP devices from Yealink, Polycom, Cisco and Grandstream.
How is call usage charged?
UK landline and mobile calls are bundled on every plan. International calls are billed per minute at published rates. Full rate cards are available on request via hello@telquest.co.uk.
Is the service compliant for regulated industries?
TelQuest is Ofcom registered, ICO registered, GDPR compliant, PCI DSS. Encrypted recording, retention controls and pause-and-resume make PCI DSS and FCA call handling straightforward.
